Eduardo received both his Bachelor of Arts and Masters in Music from the Butler University Jordan College of Music, Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Conductor, Eduardo has been privileged to work with José Antonio Abreu, Goodwill Ambassador for Music and for Peace of the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) within the Orquesta Nacional Juvenil de Venezuela system (the Venezuelan National System of Children's and Youth Orchestras and Choirs). He also studied conducting under the direction of Jackson Wiley, Music Director Emeritus of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Indianapolis.

Prior to his arrival in the United States, Eduardo was Director and Conductor of the Merida Youth Symphony Orchestra, in Merida, Venezuela. During the Tenth Pan American Games, Eduardo conducted Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, performed by the Merida Youth Symphony Orchestra and Merida Youth Choir in addition to performances of the combination of the Merida Youth Choir, the Merida Youth Symphony and Butler University Symphony Orchestra.

As an accomplished Violinist Eduardo studied under Domingo Garcia Flores, Arts Director at Universidad Central de Venezuela and under Hidetaro Suzuki, the internationally acclaimed former Concertmaster of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Eduardo has been a violinist with the Orquesta Musica Antigua and the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra in Caracas, Venezuela as well as the Philharmonic Orchestra of Indianapolis.

As a Tenor, Eduardo M. Cedeno brings passionate musical expression and strength to leading roles in opera, operetta, and musical theatre. Born in Venezuela, more than twenty years of professional musical expertise has taken him around the globe teaching, singing and conducting throughout Europe - Germany, Spain, Italy, Yugoslavia, France, Portugal and Austria, most of South America as well as the United States of America. As a singer, Eduardo has performed as a tenor soloist in orchestral works such as Mozart's Requiem, and Handel's Messiah. He's also performed a cast role in Il Trovatore and performed in operatic choruses of productions such as Otello, Rigoletto and Madame Butterfly.

Eduardo studied voice at Summer Master Classes under the direction of Helena Lazarska, Professor of Music of the University of Music, Vienna, Austria and under the direction of Andre Aerne, while at Jordan College of Fine Arts at Butler University. During his formative years, Eduardo participated in The Schola Cantorum of Caracas, now under the umbrella of The Foundation Schola Cantorum of Caracas (FSCC) at that time under the direction of Alberto Grau. Eduardo was a Founding Member of the Philharmonic Choral Group of Caracas, and in 1974, the Schola Cantorum, of which Cedeno was a tenor member, obtained First Place in the Polyphonic International Contest "Guido D'Arezzo" in Italy.

Eduardo received both his Bachelor of Arts and Masters in Music from the Butler University Jordan College of Music, Indianapolis, Indiana and has been pursuing graduate studies at Boston University. He continues to teach strings on a private basis and is currently President and Principal Conductor of the Cornelius Youth Orchestras in Cornelius, North Carolina. He resides with his wife in Concord, where he is Strings Instructor and Orchestra Director at Cannon School.
